Ryan Kaufman Tattoos

 My name is Ryan Kaufman, and I have 15 years of experience in tattooing. My strengths are realism, illustration, color theory, and large-scale custom designs that fit and flow with the anatomy.
I enjoy working on everything from bold illustrative color work to soft black and grey realism. I love creating tattoos that are custom and unique, whether they tell a personal story, are whimsical, funny, and distinctive.
I like experimenting with and borrowing elements from different styles. I'm heavily influenced by classical realism, Neo-traditional tattoos, Art Nouveau, and new school. I aim to do more tattoos with unconventional subject matter, fusing illustration with realism and a touch of whimsy.
I appreciate helping people tell their individual, unique stories through imagery, just as much as I appreciate when clients don't take themselves or their tattoos too seriously and want to do something off-the-wall and fun.
